IT Account Manager - New business Sales

1CONNECT is a fast-growing reseller of Unified Communications and is looking for a suitable candidate(s) to join an experienced sales team.
In a role that offers the flexibility of WFH or office based in Warrington or Guildford you would be responsible for promoting 1CONNECT’s portfolio of network infrastructure and Wi-Fi solutions from leading vendors such as Cisco, Meraki, Juniper and MIST to a varied customer base including end users, resellers and niche contractors.
The successful applicant’s responsibilities would include;
- Recruitment of new customers via lead generation and other platforms.
- Manage and maintain selected 1CONNECT existing customers.
- Engage with 1CONNECT’s specialists to up-sell connectivity and telephony packages.
- Work with vendor account managers to find new opportunities and keep pace with new technology developments.
- Work within a monthly target and KPI structure
- A demonstrable track record in new business sales.
- Experience in selling Cisco, Meraki, Juniper and MIST to end user customers.
- Management of existing accounts and ability to increase business by introducing new products and services.
- Strong customer management skills.
- Focused on customer retention.
- Knowledge of network infrastructure and Wi-Fi solutions.
- Ability to forecast monthly sales.
- Achieving or exceeding monthly sales targets and KPI’s.
- Motivated, self-sufficient and financially driven.
